Key Points from the Webinar
We're nearly done with our project to bring you relational data tables. Relational data tables will allow you to link one or more tables by information common to both. For example, you'll be able to have one table of trainees and a separate table of all the trainings they attend without needing to repeat demographic information (age, sex, etc.) about them every time. This webinar walks you through the most common use cases for linked tables and shows you how to configure these tables in DevResults.
Conceptual overview [00:51]
The four most common use cases for linked tables are:
- Repeat Interactions
- Select Multiple
- Hierarchical Entities
- Double Link
Linked tables in DevResults [16:30]
- From any page, click on Results > Data Tables.
- Click on a data table.
- Select the Design tab.
- Configure how rows from that table will be shown in other tables using a Lookup Key.
- Link to Data Tables with a Lookup Key configured by adding that table as a column.
